News & Events
Finally, the long-awaited Achiever’s Night arrived, and it was a memorable evening. We had a meal at Dave’s Bistro in 1 Utama on a night filled with laughter and joy. The objective of Achiever’s Night is to celebrate each and every Achiever’s tiny triumphs, to remind them that they are strong and capable of doing many things in life, and that they can achieve their goals!
The highlight of the evening was when everyone gathered around the table and shared their year’s worth of experiences. Even though it was a difficult year, my fellow Achiever’s found the light in the darkness. Everyone was also supportive to one another, as they encouraged each other to achieve their dreams and goals.
During the night many felt that they did not achieve much as they felt that this year passed by really fast. This was largely due to the fact that we spent the most of 2021 in lockdown, stuck at home, with stringent SOPs in place to curb the pandemic. Gyms were also only permitted to open in September. This year, on the other hand, flew by like any other. Every year, we have the same 365 days and 8760 hours. The only difference was what we were doing and how we perceive the situation. When we begin to shift our perspective, we can form new habits and develop new routines to make better use of our time. Remember that the ideal time to make a change in your life is right now.
As 2022 comes, I hope that my Achiever’s strive to be a better version of themselves by achieving their fitness goals. I also hope that in the coming year, we would be allowed to start participating in more outdoor activities, including marathons and spartan race. Till then, I want to remind each and every one of you reading this that through your movement and mindset, you too can #BeAnAchiever.
