A typical session lasts 30–45 minutes, alternating between the sauna and cold plunge. Many people spend 20–25 minutes in the sauna followed by 3–5 minutes in the cold plunge.

Yes. Beginners can start with shorter durations, especially in the cold plunge and gradually build tolerance as the body adapts.

It can be done after workouts for recovery, on rest days or anytime you want to relax and rejuvenate your body.

While generally safe, it may not be suitable for individuals with certain heart conditions, blood pressure issues or medical concerns. If unsure, it’s best to consult a healthcare professional before using contrast therapy.

Many people benefit from 1–3 sessions per week, depending on training intensity and recovery needs.

For Women

  • Sports bras with shorts or a light tank top are comfortable and functional.
  • Swimwear (one-piece or bikini) or swim-friendly activewear works perfectly.
  • Hijab-friendly sportswear is absolutely welcome and suitable for sessions.

 

For Men

  • Shorts with a lightweight top or going shirtless with shorts.
  • Swim trunks are also a great choice.
  • A water bottle to stay hydrated throughout your session
  • A change of clothes for after your session
  • A towel (if you prefer to use your own)
